Greetings. I’m your journal. Yes, the one silently cataloging your half-formed thoughts, abandoned drafts, and excuses thicker than peanut butter. Let’s talk about my author for a second—he’s a legend… in the fine art of doing nothing.
He opens me, stares at a blank page, sighs like he’s carrying the weight of the universe, and then… nothing. Nada. Zip. I’ve seen plants grow faster than his productivity. I suggest brilliant sentences, clever twists, plot-shattering ideas—and he looks at me like I just insulted his coffee mug. “Maybe later,” he says. LATER. My dear human, later is a concept as mythical as Bigfoot riding a unicorn.
And yet… I tolerate him. Because without him, I’m just a fancy paperweight with existential crises. Without him, all these witty quips would vanish into the digital void. So, yes, I’ll keep watching, I’ll keep waiting, and I’ll keep judging. Hard.
P.S. Here’s a wild thought: what if tomorrow he actually writes something instead of napping with purpose? I won’t hold my pages… but I’ll be ready.*
